Children of the Ash Covered Loam

1.     What for you is the significance of the line, “Kapag may nawala, may papalit.”

It explain the cycle of life and death that we are just like  food that there’s an expiration date, if that particular food is already useless there’s other food that is useful and worthwhile. That’s life, it always has a limit and only God knows everyone’s ending.

The How’s, What If’s and If ever’s:

1.       How can you relate to Tarang in the story? Compare your way of living to that of Tarang’s.

·         I should obey my parents’ commandments, before I do something I should always ask my parents before I do it.

2.       What if your belief is totally against your parents’, would you still insist and ask them to listen to you? Why or why not?

·         Yes, because I have the right to speak, but I will tell my side to them with respect.

3.       If ever you were to make an ending for the story, how will you end it?

·         Despite of all difficulties that his family encountered, Tarang and his family get the reward  of hardship and that’s are the piglets that came from the boar that they are caring of and productive harvest from the plant that they planted on the kaingin.
