We, Filipinos are Mild Drinkers       

1.       If ever you have the chance to talk to an American, what best feature about Filipinos will you tell him?

            I will tell to him the different unique traditions that we have and the also the hospitality of Filipinos.

The How’s, What If’s and If ever’s:

1.                   How are Filipinos portrayed in the story? What certain characteristics of Filipinos are present in the character of the farmer?

·         Being hospitable of Filipinos are the image that portrayed in the story, even he didn’t know the person because it’s a foreign he don’t hesitate to answer the questions of that man, that’s the unique characteristics of a Filipino.

2.                   What if an American invites you to drink but of his choice, would you join him?

·         Yes, as respect to their invitation.

3.                   Do you believe that Filipinos are mild drinkers?

·         Nowadays? No, maybe some are mild drinkers but the rest they are not.

4.                   Do you agree that there should be an ordinance/ law about drinking liquor? Why or why not?

·         Yes, because too much drink can cause harmful to everyone’s safeties’. Those who are harsh in drinking liquor are prone in accident.

5.                   If ever you were to decide on what age are Filipinos allowed to drink liquor, how old should he be? Explain your answer.       


·         Those who are in the age of 20 and above should be the allowed to drink liquor , I know that 18 is a legal age but 18-20 is just a preparation to the adulthood that’s why those who are in the age of 20 and above are the people that can drink too much. First they can handle well themselves when they are already tipsy and second they are not teenager anymore to act as a teenager.
